Home Made Kolak Durian

I never really like durians due to the smell and all but what to do when someone sent it as a gift. Well, how about cooking it? Less smell and tastes really great.

It's not that different with any other kolak. First, cook the coconut milk along with melted palm sugar. Not too much palm sugar though just to make th white coconut milk a bit brownish. Add about 2 or 3 pandan leaves. Stir it well until boils.

Put the durians into it (open it first and leave out the skin of course lol). Stirr it again until cook. Add some white sugar too to make it sweeter.

This kolak durian can be eaten with ketan putih or toast. Whichever you like it tho :-)
